Brief Description:  Finish left forward rib assemblies

Finished riveting the LH inboard/outboard forward rib folding assemblies.

I noticed that the inboard pivot doubler channels, W19-07 and W20-05, do not correct for the 2.5 degree dihedral of the inboard doubler plate. If assembled per the plans, the channel will project below the skin line. See the 1st picture of my 2/7/12 post. The channel is hanging below the bench top level.

I had already drilled and riveted the complete channel assemblies. I removed the rivets from the channel connections at the W19-06 pivot doubler angles. I drilled some new pilot holes in the angle, put the channel flush on the bench, the web of the doubler on the edge of the bench at the 2.5 degree angle, and clamped the angle/channel assembly. Then through drilled using the new angle pilot holes into the channel. Deburred everything, updrilled and riveted the angle/channel assemblies (left and right). Results are in image 2 (RH assembly). Re-assembled all components, torqued the nylon locknuts on the MS24693-S32 and S34 screws to 8 lb-in and applied Torque-Seal.

This completes sheet W19 and W20.

Starting work on the left outboard wing assembly. Started squaring up the forward ribs and primed some of the faces where parts will be riveted together.
